l really enjoy these biographies. They remind me of the A&E Biography Documentaries, which are around 45 minutes long. They're long enough to learn a number of interesting things, but short enough to hold your interest. The good thing about these shorter books, as opposed to the documentaries, is that I think they cover more of the subject's life, and there's less conjecture from historical "experts".I had already grabbed the Lincoln and Washington books and was considering buying the Benjamin Franklin book next, but it's nice to have these altogether, and I can read the others later whenever I'm ready.I also like that there are quotes spread throughout the books from the person they're about or people near them. Each chapter started with a quote for example, but quotes are also spread throughout the body of the text. There were pictures and images too, which was nice.So I'm happy to have any books from this series. They're perfect in length and are perfect for my interest in history and my limited time available to dive into larger works. This book is filled with so much inspiration from the lives of famous people in history. After reading this book, I realized that even successful and famous personalities encountered tremendous hardships and failures. This is a very brilliant reminder that failure is part in life, what matters most is how you deal with them. I am indeed blessed after reading this book, especially about the life of President Abraham Lincoln. I really recommend this book to everybody.
